For the hangi I packed parcels. This involved putting vegetables and meat into tinfoil and wrapping it up.

KIWIana

The Kiwi icons that I used were a washing line that had AllBlacks jerseys on it

And a rugby ball in front of a jug of beer to show the AllBlacks celebrating after a win in rugby. The silver fern is for the Silver Ferns netball team.

Good quality animal

My animal is called awesomely cool animal. It has Kangaroo legs for kicking things that threaten it. It has a Shark body and gills for swimming, Eagle eyes that look for danger and wings for flying. It has Cheetah spots for speed and dog ears for hearing. Last but not least Buck antlers for battling.

How to make a hangi

We usually have hangis on special occasions like birthdays & family meetings. Sometimes you have it because its yum so I'm going to tell you one of the ways you can build a hangi!

Firstly dig a hole in the earth big enough to fit the baskets in. The logs are placed in the hole, biggest to smallest.

Then the rocks are added. Don't use normal ones cause they will explode, use volcanic rocks. Now light the fire.

The logs will slowly burn &the rocks will eventually fall in the pit. The rocks will surrounded ash.

Now you dig the ash out and place the basket in. Then add the sheets and sacks on. Cover with dirt until the steam isn't showing. Now play Xbox for about 4-5 hours and enjoy your feed.
