How to make a hangi

We usually have hangis on special occasions like birthdays & family meetings. Sometimes you have it because its yum so I'm going to tell you one of the ways you can build a hangi!

Firstly dig a hole in the earth big enough to fit the baskets in. The logs are placed in the hole, biggest to smallest.

Then the rocks are added. Don't use normal ones cause they will explode, use volcanic rocks. Now light the fire.

The logs will slowly burn &the rocks will eventually fall in the pit. The rocks will surrounded ash.

Now you dig the ash out and place the basket in. Then add the sheets and sacks on. Cover with dirt until the steam isn't showing. Now play Xbox for about 4-5 hours and enjoy your feed.

Here are my reflections on my term 2 learning goals.

why did the popcorn dance?

Have you ever wondered how t make the popcorn dance? Well me and some people from my class have done an experiment. There were allot of steps but it was really fun.

Firstly you fill a transparent glass three quarters of the way up.

Then you put two drops of food colouring in and stir.

Next you put in vinegar and lastly the kernels in. To finish of, you put in baking soda and away they go.

The popcorn kernels started jumping up and down it looked liked they were dancing. They started to go up and down.

The kernels went up and down because when they were at the bottom they got surrounded by bubbles and floated up. When they were above the surface the bubbles popped and the kernels went down. This is repeated until the baking soda ran out.

With all these ingredients there is a way to make popcorn dance. You can see it for yourself too

The Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) is a bird of prey found in North America. It is the national bird and symbol of the United States of America. Populations recovered and stabilized, so the species was removed from the U.S. federal government's list of endangered species and transferred to the list of threatened species on July 12, 1995, and it was removed from the List of Endangered and Threatened Wildlife in the Lower 48 States on June 28, 2007.

this picture is of the planet my group made. we did uranus.

first we got a baloon and paper mached it. we did about 5 layers of it.

then we painted it with white 2 times. afer that we painted it what ever colour the planet was. as you can se we painted ours blue.

what i did well was making the colour we needed for the planet.

what i need to improve on is paper maching faster.
