Dalmation

The Dalmation is breed of dog whose roots are often said to trace back to Dalmatia,a region of Croatia where the first illustrations of the dog have been found. The Dalmation is noted for its unique- or brown-spotted coat and was mainly used as a carriage dog in its early days. Today,this dog remains a well loved family pet and many dog enthusiasts enter their pets into

the compititions of many kennel clubs.

Gorillas

Gorillas are the largest extant species of primates. They are ground-dweling,predominantly herbivorous apes that inhabit the forests of central Africa. Gorillas are divided into two species and four or five subspecies. The DNA of gorillas is highly similar to that of a human,from 95-99 perscent depending on what is counted,and they are the next closest living relatives to humans after the two chimpanzee species.

Animal survival

On thursday at Living Springs on we played animal survival. There were four animal groups and twelve stations. There was a big carnivore,big herbivores,small carnivores and last but not least small herbivores. All the animals had lives. The smaller you are the more lives you get. I was a small herbivore so I got the most lives. There was also rabies and the hunter. The hunter was Matua nathan and rabies was Hannah's Dad Terry.

Firstly the small herbivore got let out then the small carnivore and so on.

Then some of us hid and some of us went to the stations. I went to the stations.

Next rabies got let out unanounced. Jacob and I hid in a bush when we saw rabies. He didn't find us.

Lastly about 5 minutes before the game ended the hunter got let out but he never found us. Me,Jacob and some other people didn't get out.

I thought animal survival was really really fun and awesome. Next time i want to try to lose no lives.

Hamuera

Hamuera is my brother. We call him Hamu for short. Hamuera means Samuel. Hamu is five years old and his birthdate is 6th December 2005. He is five turning six this year. My brothers favourite foods are ice cream, chocolate and mussels. He doesn't like kiwifruit. He has brown eyes like my Dad and blond hair like my Mum. His best friend is Taine and his favourite cousin is Chase. His favourite sport is ripper rugby.
