How my instrument produces sound

My instrument produces sound by tapping the cans with a stick making the cans vibrate. This causes a sound wave to be formed and the sound wave travels out the bottom of the cans and to your ears. My instrument is called the Xylodrum.

Accident story

"BANG!" The two cars had just collided, the burning flames lighting the night sky. Billy had no idea what to do; his brain was still processing what had just happened in front of him, right before his feet. He thought to himself, should I go get help or stay and help the victims? There was nobody around so he decided to go and get help.

The crash was in the middle of nowhere, literally. After a good half hour of running he finally came across the nearest building, an old warn down gas station. The closed sign was veering to the left and was missing the letter L.
Billy cautiously walked around the side of the building, his steps disturbing the resting dust. The flakey mud crumbling beneath Billy's polished leather boots. He walked towards the store owners back door, knocked three times and waited for someone to answer.

An old man, who looked like he was in his 60's, answered the door. The door swung open, the rusty hinges creaking like the mans old bones. He mumbled under his grey frizzy beard, "what do you want young boy?''

His face started changing! His teeth grew longer and got sharper. His eyes turned a dark red and he started to get bigger. His head broke through the roof and his finger changed to claws. He reached out and grabbed me!

I startled and sat straight up in my bed, it was just a dream.

Hiwi the kiwi

"Come on son, we're off!" I said to my little boy.

We hopped in the yacht. It was a beautiful day, the sun shimmering, ocean nice and calm. The perfect day to go fishing. I gave my son a life jacket and put on my own. I started up the boat and off we went. After about half an hour of sailing we anchored and casted our lines. Me and my son slapped on a bit of sunblock and lay back, waiting for a bite.

"Dad look, there's a fish on the line!" James exclaimed.

I jumped up straight away and excitedly ran to the rod. I took the fishing rod into my hands and started to reel. It was a big fish, I could tell by how long it took me to land. It took a good hour or so to get the beast on board. I looked at it, lying on the yacht's floor, and I said to James,"that's the biggest fish I've ever caught!"

"Dad, put it back!" James commanded.

"Why would I do that, this is a huuggee fish and we're gonna take it home for dinner!" I replied.

The fish was a golden red snapper. It's eyes were as black as the night sky with little shimmering stars. The fish weighed about 300 pounds and was hard to lift..

"It could be pregnant so you have to put it back. You can always come back and catch it or its children again." James argued.

"Ok, I'll put it back." I moaned

I picked the fish up with a wet towel and carefully released her back into the ocean. I watched the snapper swim away slowly and then disappear into the abyss. "I think it's time To go home now son. That's enough fishing for today."

We sailed back to shaw, hooked up the boat and away we went.
